Mike Leary has coached thousands of business people from all over the world. He is a speech coach, presentation skills trainer, sales advisor, and business consultant. He works with professionals from all disciplines including engineering, marketing, accounting, finance, customer service, sales, legal, manufacturing, the executive team and board of directors. He is skilled in preparing witnesses and speakers for mediations and legislative hearings to working with clients on rehearsals for project reviews, new business presentations, and board meetings.
Mike has worked at the University of Illinois and was the Director of Capital Improvements for the City of Chicago. He then worked for a national training company and was transferred to California to open their West Coast operations.
He founded Leary Communications in 2001, his current clients include Hewlett Packard, Bank of the West, Abbott Medical Optics, San Francisco Food Bank, BBI Construction and Save the Bay. Over the years, he's worked with Ford, Microsoft, Cisco, Bechtel, AT&T and Los Alamos National Lab.
Mike's mantra is to be a trusted advisor to his clients and students—working with them to achieve their desired business results.
Mike is also faculty of the graduate school of business at Saint Mary's College of California, he teaches management communication in the Executive MBA program. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley in both the graduate and undergraduate programs of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
