The foundation of the Leary Communications professional communications skills curriculum is two comprehensive seminar-type classes: Speaking for Results and Building Client Relationships.
Complementing these training programs, the consulting arm of Leary Communications provides Executive Coaching. From preparing senior executives and subject matter experts for major speeches to rehearsing teams for new business presentations or mediation hearings, executive coaching is the essential ingredient to communicating well. This can include everything from editing visual aids and exhibits to handing off questions in a panel discussion and simulating hostile cross examination in a courtroom setting.
The founder of Leary Communications, Mike Leary, is on the faculty of the graduate school of business at Saint Mary’s College of California. He teaches management communications in the Executive MBA program. Mike is also a guest lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley in both the graduate and undergraduate programs of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Leary Communications is also affiliated with other business consulting firms specializing in business writing, competency assessment and measurement, management coaching, and new hire interviewing.
